I have added pictures of Demi from January 24th backstage at Westwood One Radio and KIIS 102.7/ALT 98.7 FM Pre-Grammy Party to the gallery.
I’ve finally got screen captures of both the Let It Go and Neon Lights music videos added into the gallery.
Good news for Harmonizers and Lovatics: Demi Lovato and Fifth Harmony aren’t just going on tour together, they’re also collaborating!
“Of course there’s plans to collaborate with them,” Lovato told MTV News. “I adore them so much. They’re such sweet girls and I really think they’re going to go far in this industry. I’m glad I could that I could be a part of it by helping put them together and taking them on the road. It’s really exciting.”
As for their upcoming Neon Lights tour, Lovato promised it’ll be different from her previous sets. “You can expect a show I’ve never put on before. Other shows I’ve had have been all about the music. I want it to be about girl empowerment,” she revealed. “I want it to be a huge party that everyone has fun at, just an incredible experience.”
And now for another burning question on Lovatics’ minds: When will we hear new music from her?! The ex-’X Factor‘ judge promises she’ll work on new tracks while she’s on breaks from her tour. “I’ll definitely be writing every chance that I get!”
I have updated the gallery with a bunch of pictures from the last couple of months. I have just added photos of Demi from yesterday at the Y100′s Jingle Ball 2013 in the press room and performing! Check them out!
Watch the singer discuss her recovery from addiction
Singer, actress and The X Factor “mentor” Demi Lovato made her publishing debut last week with her memoir Staying Strong: 365 Days a Year. Published by Feiwel and Friends, the book is scrapbook of sorts, comprised of uplifting Tweets Lovato wrote over the past twelve months as she was recovering from addiction, depression and other issues. A combination of her words and others, Staying Stong ranges in content from Lovato’s emotional goals to quotes about perseverance.
In a new webisode, the singer opens up about her struggles. Sitting backstage, Lovato reads a Franklin D. Roosevelt quote to a roomful of friends, which also appears in Staying Strong. The quote – “When you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hang on” – resonates with two of her guests, who are Maasai Warriors from Kenya and the first to go to school in their community. “It’s all about courageousness and believing in yourself. That’s how you can be strong,” Wilson says. Lovato met the pair on a recent trip to Kenya as part of her involvement with the charity Free the Children, which she cites as a major inspiration for the book.
Speaking on Staying Strong, Lovato tells Rolling Stone, “It can bring together people from all over the world – different cultures from different backgrounds. Everyone can relate in some shape or form because we’re all human beings with heart and soul.”

Demi Lovato has selected “Neon Lights” as the third single from her recent album Demi, and the video is coming as soon as Sunday night — as the songbird revealed with a little teaser video on her Facebook page. Showing neon letters (I see what you did there, Demetria) spelling out the name of the song.
It’s a simple visual, but promising — especially if we get some shots of Demi in club attire. Expect the video to premiere at 6pm ET on Sunday, September 29.
Given the song’s heavy EDM influence, it’s the most obviously radio-friendly out of the remaining tracks on Demi, but it was also one of the worst-received critically upon the album’s release, which makes it a curious single choice. Ah well. A new Demi video is better than no Demi video at all, right?
