Demi Lovato Sets Off For Chile’s Iquique Festival

All set for her International travels, Demi Lovato was spotted making her way inside LAX Airport in Los Angeles, CA on Thursday afternoon (February 2).

The “Skyscraper” singer rocked a hot, red hairdo as she strutted past paparazzi and inside the metro terminal to board a flight bound for the South America country of Chile.

As for the reason behind her travels, Miss Lovato is lined up to take the stage on Saturday (February 4) during the Iquique Festival in Iquique, Chile.

Ending her hiatus from Twitter this past Monday to announce the concert plans, the 19-year-old excitedly wrote, “Don’t believe the hype…. All is well! SO stoked to head to Chile in a few days!!! Love all my Lovatics… MUAH! xo”

Demi Lovato dishes about her dark days, how she became healthy and happy, and the body part she loves the most. The Unbroken singer has never been so confident in her own skin!

Painful Past
“I’m not going to lie,” Demi says. “I was self-medicating. I was doing things like drinking and using [drugs], like a lot of teens do to numb their pain.

Now: Clean and Healthy
“I don’t drink, I don’t do drugs, I don’t throw up after my meals, I don’t starve myself,” says Demi. There’s nothing that I do that I feel ashamed of.”

Sober is Sexy
“I think sober is sexy. It’s cool. I think it’s way cooler to be above the influence than under the influence.”

A Typical Friday Night…
“Now on Friday nights, if I want to go hang out with friends, I go hang out with friends. If I want to stay in and be in the hot tub and have people over to watch movies, I do that. I have more fun doing that than I did making the stupid decisions that I did back in the day.”

Friends For Life
“There are two people that no matter how many times we fight, we will always be in each other’s lives. [Miley Cyrus and I] are strong-headed. Selena [Gomez] and I, we never fight.”

Body Acceptance
“I’m not supposed to be stick thin — my body’s not made to be that way. I feel like I have a good butt. I don’t have boobs, but I got a butt!”

Demi Lovato beads it up on the February 2012 cover of Seventeen magazine.

The 19-year-old musician opened up to the magazine about the two people who kept by her side during tough times.

Demi shared, “There were two people [who were there for me]. No matter how many times we fight, we will always be in each others’ lives. [Miley Cyrus and I] are very strong-headed, so when we fight, it’s brutal and we’re like, ‘We’re never going to be friends again!’ Then two days later, we’re like, ‘I love you and I miss you!’”

“Selena [Gomez] and I, we never fight. She’s not a confrontational person at all. Both of them will never leave my life no matter what happens, because we’ve been through so much together,” Demi added of her BFF.
