We had a massive response to our Top Teen Star poll, with over 640,000 votes! It was a tight race between Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas, but we are pleased to announce that you guys chose Demi Lovato as your Top Teen Star of 2010.

Demi has had a tough 2010. As we all know she ended up in rehab after allegedly punching a dancer on her tour, plus she broke up with boyfriend Joe Jonas. Raunchy photos were also recently leaked onto the internet.

But we want to celebrate Demi’s achievements. In 2010 Demi starred in her TV show ‘Sonny With A Chance’. She toured through South America on her own, and then supported the Jonas Brothers on their World Tour. She started working on her third album, which should be released sometime in 2011. She also appeared in ‘Camp Rock 2′.

We think Demi is going to come back bigger and better than ever in 2010, and we’re proud that you guys recognise that. We love Demi Lovato!

And congratulations to Nick Jonas, who was our runner up. The youngest Jonas Brother also had a big year, touring with his brothers and appearing in Les Miserables. Teen sensation Justin Bieber came in third.

Demi Lovato will NOT be joining Joss Whedon’s The Avengers, it’s been confirmed.

Via The Playlist, the 18-year-old actress/musician is still on the road to recovery at a facility outside Chicago and the rumors were just that — rumors.

The Avengers will reunite Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans in their super hero roles. The flick is set to debut in 2012.

Hey guys, We have it on good authority that the statements that have been taken from the Associated Press concerning a Demi Lovato tour in 2011 are quite possibly quotes from an old interview and are not recent. Thing have changed since that time and all bets are off even on Demster’s new album for a while until she gets out of treatment and back into to doing what she does best.

We are still getting information from Hollywood Records and Demster’s reps on this, but at it stands right now you should hold off getting excited about any tours for Demster next year.

Sorry guys but we had our doubts on this from the beginning and we do not care if MTV is reporting it now, it still is not confirmed.

The pictures are tagged but, it is so nice to see her with her family, she was allowed out of the treatment center for half a day on Christmas Eve and a full day on Christmas Day. …Demi Lovato, whose Camp Rock 2 tour with the Jonas Brothers had to cancel a dozen North American shows in 2010, told the AP recently that she’ll do her best to keep prices reasonable for a solo tour planned for 2011 to promote her third album. (Her camp says the tour is still on track, despite her entering treatment for “emotional and physical issues.”)

“I have best friends that aren’t in the industry and are dealing with just buying groceries and things like that, so I want to do my part,” she said.
