In the holiday special, Grady and Sonny play parents to Zora who got excited when she found out that she gets a life-size Joe Jonas as a Christmas present.

Disney Channel’s “Sonny with a Chance” cast made use of the Thanksgiving holiday to greet fans with a video and share a sneak peek to the upcoming episode. Called “A So Random! Holiday Special”, the special episode features Joe Jonas who plays himself and appears as a Christmas present that comes in a box and with accessory.

Chad Dylan Cooper hosts the fully-produced, jolly-themed “So Random!” holiday special. Sketches include “A Jonas for Christmas,” “The 12 Days of Sickmas with Sicky Vicky,” “Holiday Cooking with Roadkill McGill” and “Christmas with the Real Princesses of New Jersey”.

Joe Jonas would also be the musical guest of the night, singing a duet with Demi Lovato by the piano. The November 28 episode had been shot before Lovato admitted herself to rehab earlier this month. The cast are due to be back on the set to resume the production in January but since Lovato is not immediately available, they would do sketches like this holiday special, using “So Random!”.

Demi Lovato won’t be home for Thanksgiving – but she will have her family by her side.

The Disney Channel star, 18, will remain at the treatment facility where she’s getting help for “emotional and physical issues,” but her family will “be there to celebrate Thanksgiving with her,” her rep tells PEOPLE.

Contrary to recent reports that Lovato would be home for Thanksgiving, her rep says, “she remains committed first and foremost to her treatment. Demi has made tremendous progress to date, but understands that she has more work to do.”

As Demi Lovato makes plans to spend Thanksgiving with her family, I have even more good news about the Disney star. Sonny With a Chance costar Sterling Knight has spoken with Lovato…

“She’s doing well,” Knight told me exclusively last night at GQ’s Men of the Year party at Chateau Marmont. “She’s in good spirits. I didn’t want to bother her too much because I want her to get her rest. I know she’s been overworked for a long time. I’m hoping she stays strong and gets through it.”

Knight’s happy Lovato decided to get help now rather than wait until she got older. “You’d rather nip it in the bud sooner than later,” he said. “I know she’s been real busy—almost entirely too busy for any human being, let along a 17-year-old girl. It’s nice that she’s handling her stuff.”

Cast and crew will soon return to shooting Sonny, but still no official word if Lovato will be there. “We have a little contingency plan going on,” Sterling said. “We’re going to have some fun doing some sketch comedy. It’s exciting because it’s going to be a different kind of turn for the show.”

Contrary to an E! News report, Demi Lovato won’t be out of rehab by Thanksgiving, her rep tells UsMagazine.com.

“Recent reports stating that Demi Lovato will be out of treatment by Thanksgiving are false,” her rep tells Us in a statement. “While she would, of course, love to be home for the holidays, she remains committed first and foremost to her treatment.”

“Demi has made tremendous progress to date, but understands that she has more work to do,” the statement continues. “Unfortunately, the news outlet that reported this story originally failed to call us for comment or to fact check the story before it was printed.”

The Disney star, 18, announced Nov. 1 that she has checked into an undisclosed facility

Disney “Shake It Up” Stars Talk Demi Lovato

Hollyscoop talked exclusively with the stars of Disney’s new it show Shake It Up at the Tangled premiere, and they are just so damn cute! They remind me of the way Miley Cyrus was when she was first starting out.

They talked to me about Demi Lovato, and fitting into the “Disney mold.”

Bella Thorne, whom everyone is calling the next Miley, said she doesn’t get the comparisons. “I don’t feel that I’m put under pressure. I think the Disney Mold, I don’t really get that, I don’t know what the Disney mold is.”

Dr. Drew Addresses Demi Lovato Situation

Probably better that she doesn’t know! Bella added, I’m so happy to…have this whole big family and have people look up to me or whatever. I think that’s really great.”

Bella didn’t want to comment on Demi, but her co-star Zendaya Coleman did. “I mean, I try to stay out of other people’s business,” Coleman told me. “I know she is going through a tough time right now…I just say get better– that is all.”

Debi Mazar Excited Demi Lovato is in Rehab

Fellow Shake It Up cast mate Roshon Fegan added his words of encouragement for Lovato. “Believe in yourself, a lot of people listen to everyone but themselves. It’s hard too at times when you have so many voices around you speaking for you.

“I know deep inside she’s an amazing person and has great judgment. She just has to take some time to listen to what she really wants to do, listen to herself. I think it will all be okay.”

So cute that they’re all so supportive! But you know deep down they’re trying not to be the next Hollywood screw-up!
