MULTI-PLATINUM RECORDING ARTISTS JONAS BROTHERS AND SPECIAL GUEST DEMI LOVATO ANNOUNCE WORLD TOUR

THREE CONTINENT SUMMER TOUR PRESENTED AND PRODUCED BY LIVE NATION WILL SUPPORT WORLD PREMIERE OF HIGHLY ANTICIPATED “CAMP ROCK” SEQUEL

Multi-platinum-selling recording artists the Jonas Brothers announced today a three continent summer concert tour with special guest and Hollywood Records label mate, Demi Lovato. The tour will combine spectacular production with unrivaled performances of both artist’s hits as well as music from the Disney Channel Original Movie, “Camp Rock,” and its highly anticipated sequel. Adding to the excitement this summer, the tour will also feature appearances by their friends and co-stars from both “Camp Rock” movies.

Produced by Live Nation and sponsored by OfficeMax, the tour kicks off Tuesday, July 27 in Dallas, Texas, and will continue throughout North America, Latin America and Europe throughout the Summer and Fall.

Tickets will be on sale beginning Saturday, May 15. Check www.livenation.com and www.teamjonas.com for further information and updates on the tour including additional details on ticket sales. Beginning Tuesday, May 11, fans will be able to access a “Camp Rock” themed premium iTouch and iPhone app, which will also be optimized for the iPad, to buy concert tickets.

Disney Channel will rock summer 2010 with the biggest launch ever of a Disney Channel Original Movie, “Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam” starring Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato. Premiering Friday, September 3, the ‘break into song’ movie celebrates music, dance and the freedom of summer. Its soundtrack will be available Tuesday, July 27.

It’s here too! The official announcement of the Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam concert tour, premiere date and soundtrack! Let’s start with the most exciting:

THE CONCERT: The Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato and the rest of the cast of the movie will be heading out on a worldwide concert tour. The three continent concert tour begins July 27 in Dallas, Texas. Tickets can be purchased at LiveNation. Also, beginning May 11, fans can also access a “Camp Rock”-themed premium iTouch and iPhone app, which will also be optimized for the iPad, to buy tickets to the concert, hear music clips, watch videos and more.

THE SOUNDTRACK: Featuring 15 original songs spanning hip-hop, rock and pop/rock, including “Can’t Back Down,” will be available Tuesday, July 27 on iTunes and in stores nationwide.

THE MOVIE: Premieres Friday, September 3 @ 8PM ET/PT on Disney Channel.

Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam summary: All the Camp Rockers have returned, eager to tune up and rock out. Nobody’s more excited than Mitchie (Lovato), who anticipates more than a summer of music. Fresh from a world tour, the rock band Connect 3 (Jonas Brothers) are hanging all summer – Shane to pursue last summer’s crush on Mitchie, his band mates as moral support.

Across the lake glistens the new Camp Star: a high-tech, big-money music camp funded by Brown’s former band mate-with-a-grudge, Axel Turner. Down-to-earth Camp Rock may have passion, talent and commitment, but Camp Star boasts resources, infrastructure and money — enough money to poach Camp Rock’s counselors and put Camp Rock out of business.

But Axel isn’t counting on a natural born leader named Mitchie, who vows to save her beloved camp and her friends’ summer. Clipboard in hand, she organizes the older Camp Rockers into counselors and keeps the camp running. Then Mitchie steps it up again… by challenging the egocentric Camp Star to a Final Jam — an end-of-summer performance duel… may the best camp win.

Looks like we should all start getting really excited for the Disney Channel Original Movie “Camp Rock 2!” Good Morning America, ABCs morning news show, has just announced “GMA’s Summer Concert Series” lineup – and the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato are performing songs from Camp Rock 2 not once, but twice on the show!

If you are interested in being there for the free live performance you can arrive at the Rumsey Playfield Part in New York at 6am when the park opens to the public. You can get more information about viewer attendance at www.abcnews.com
