Demi Lovato: What I Heart Most About Joe Jonas
Today 6:47 AM PDT by Marc Malkin
Demi Lovato insists she’s, like, totally surprised by all the attention her romance with Joe Jonas has been getting.
“It’s really crazy,” Lovato, 17, told me at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. “I definitely did not expect this at all. But, you know, I’m going through it with my best friend so it’s pretty awesome. I think it was just time to be open and not hide anything.”
Yes, the 20-year-old JoBro isn’t just her boyfriend, he’s also her best friend.
So what is Lovato loving most about her beau (besides their awesome nickname, Jemi)? Read on to find out…
“Honestly, it’s all about how comfortable we are with each other,” she said. “He’s seen me with sweatpants on and with no makeup. I’ve seen him at his worst and his best. It’s great. Like I said, we’re best friends.”
Will Jemi be making more music together? “Yeah, maybe,” Lovato said. “You never know. I mean, it seems like we’re always doing duets together. But I don’t know where my music is going to go…Right now, I’m just focusing on Sonny With a Chance.”
Jonas and Lovato’s Camp Rock: The Final Jam costar Matthew “Mdot” Finley has high hopes for the latest Disney duo. “I think they’re going to last,” he said at the Last Song premiere. “They’re a great couple. They understand each other.”
As you can see, we finally have our new layout! Thanks so much to Auie for making it. There are still some problems with the layout so, we will try to fix them as soon as possible! The layout is sort of a spring theme which is good, leave your comments on what you think!
Demi Lovato Wants the World to Know She Loves Joe Jonas

Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas may have only recently gone public about being a couple – but the teen star isn’t exactly shy about sharing her feelings for her beau.
“It’s amazing!” she gushed to the Canadian entertainment show eTalk at Saturday’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. “It’s a great feeling! When you’re in love, you want the world to know!”
The couple have earned themselves a nickname that puts them on par with such major celebrity pairs as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as well as Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.
“They call us ‘Jemi,’ which I think is pretty funny,” said Lovato.
Lovato, 17, also told eTalk that she gets stopped on the street by strangers who want to know what’s going on with her beau, 20.
“It’s really weird, because random strangers will be like, ‘How’s Joe?’ ” she said. “And I’m just like, ‘What?’ But it’s fun. It’s really special, and we’re having a good time.”
The pair met on the set of Camp Rock in 2007 and grew close the following year, when Lovato toured with the Jonas Brothers. Last week, they performed their duet “Make a Wave” on American Idol.
Disney Channel darling Demi Lovato may have the best agent ever. The 17-year-old Sonny With a Chance star has been telling me for months that ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy is her favorite obsession and this week she will finally get to meet the Grey’s cast when she shoots a guest appearance for a May sweeps episode.
Lovato was at this weekend’s Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards with beau Joe Jonas, who knows how important this gig is for his girl.
“I’m really proud of her,” says Joe. “It’s really amazing. She totally deserves this and this is a dream role for her. It’s great people are going to see her do different things.”
Joe’s not kidding. This is going to be really different from any role she’s ever played before. Demi has been cast as a patient at Seattle Grace/Mercy West who will be treated by Alex (Justin Chambers) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) for possible schizophrenia!
Now my question for Demi is this. Would you rather walk away from this gig with an Emmy nomination – or a kiss on the cheek from your celeb crush, Jesse Williams, who plays Dr. Jackson Avery?

Though they’ve only recently admitted they’re dating, Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas are already one of those couples who finish each other’s sentences.
“He has this thing where he tries to say everything that’s coming out of my mouth,” Lovato tells Radio Disney’s Ernie D, laughing. “But yeah, he doesn’t know what I’m about to say.”
Lovato and Jonas, who performed the duet “Make a Wave” on American Idol Wednesday, met on the set of Camp Rock in 2007, and Lovato toured with the Jonas Brothers the following year. The two quickly became best friends.
Lovato, 17, admits that she and Jonas, 20, are accident-prone and have to avoid props like stairs when they’re onstage.
“We’re like the two clumsiest people ever,” she says.
But when it comes to vanity, Jonas has one over on his girlfriend, he confesses. When asked who spends more time in the makeup chair, the heartthrob replies, “I do.”
